was raised in Indianapolis Indiana, and spent summers in Burkesville, Ky.

I spent a twenty years coaching children in gymnastics and running youth programs in Miami, Florida. I have fought hard for scholarships for underprivileged children. Most people will say I am an advocate for the downtrodden. I always hope for the best and try to see the qualities in an individual that can be built on. I have steered teenagers to paths of success by encouraging their talents and passions, and praising them repeatedly for small steps towards success. I believe I am a growth promoter in individuals, and in organizations. I proved this with a program I ran in Dade County for the Kiwanis. Other positions I’ve held include employment as an artist for Publix supermarkets, a dental assistant for the former Chief of Staff of Miami Children’s Hospital and as a real estate agent. I currently am part owner of Tarzan’s Tree Care which is located in the Lower Keys and serves Marathon to Key West. |

suffered the loss of one
sister from a heart condition, and I learned early on, how precious
life is. Suffering the loss of one of my own sons later in life
taught this lesson again all too well. My father was a farmer, and
my mother a seamstress and owner of a children and ladies clothing
store. A very large family exists of relatives, mostly remain in IN
and KY. A vacation to Florida in my teens sealed my fate of where I
wanted to live. I continued my education after taking the GED at age
16, at Eastern Kentucky University. Though this school is widely
known for education in law enforcement, I studied interior design
but left early without a degree to move to Florida.
