It is with utmost sincerity that I
attempt the nearly impossible, of becoming the Sheriff with no party
affiliation. Unfortunately, this means that I do not have the
influence, money or position that a party affiliation affords.
However, this also means, I owe no favors, serve no party, and am
not obligated to anyone if elected. My interest in justice is because without it, we slip into chaos. Selective enforcement, civil rights violations and abuse become commonplace. We are on this path. Two sets of laws are enforced in the Keys: laws for the haves and laws for the have-nots. I want to restore the integrity in our Sheriff's Office, which has long been gone the way of special interests, favors, political appointments, etc. I need your help to spread this campaign message which will involve time and money.
